A nice looking swimming pool is the result of several factors such as location, materials used in its construction, its shape and how it blends in with its surroundings. That said, any aesthetic and architectural work done would be useless if the pool water was not kept clean and crystal clear. When we dive into the pool of our dreams, we want to have the pleasure of swimming in clear water that is safe for our health.
How can we achieve this in our pools?

Water out in the open tends to degrade due to the action of various physical and chemical factors (light, decomposition of organic substances, etc.). To prevent this, we need to intervene from the outside through chemical water treatment.

The most common method for treating swimming pool water is through the use of chlorine-based products. This chemical element is a powerful oxidant and disinfectant and is the most common product in both private and public swimming pool disinfection. The chlorine-based products that we sell are rigorously tested and in line with the latest corresponding European standards. Their proper use ensures the absolute safety of bathers.

An alternative to traditional chlorine treatment is oxygen-based, treating the water with hydrogen peroxide solutions at high concentrations together with biguanide-based disinfection products. This treatment is very common in household swimming pools and is a viable alternative to chlorine.

Finally, we would like to talk about the treatment of salt water pools. When the hydraulic system has been adequately prepared, you can install an electrolytic cell, splitting the salt molecules previously added into the water, free in the pool of chlorinated compounds that promote water disinfection. Though also here we have a presence of chlorine, in a salt water pool we have to worry very little about water treatment as the main functions of input and adjustment of the chlorine level are managed automatically through the electrolytic control unit.
